Summer Capital was founded in 2013 by Jan-Maarten Mulder who spent many years as a board member / senior executive for companies in the technology, natural resources and trading sectors.
Leveraging his expertise in investing and capital raising, he was a founding partner and board member of the Startupbootcamp Internet of Things & Data Tech accelerator program and has invested directly in early stage technology companies in niche sectors such as regulatory technology, data and quantum computing applications in Europe, the United States and Asia.
An engineer by training, he is also a Kauffman Fellow and has worked closely with various entrepreneurs as a mentor and board member to support them with refining the equity story, strategic positioning, building board consensus, governance, and capital raising.
